Kloverbox is one of my favorite subscriptions for all natural and organic products. One of the things I love about it is that this box is about more than beauty. It’s about helping you live a sustainable and eco-friendly life as well. So you’ll receive fun lifestyle products as well as skincare and beauty goodies.
Each box will arrive carefully packaged and with an information card to tell you about the products you’re receiving and how they are made. It will also provide you with coupons in case you fall in love with something and need more.
The Cost: $25/month
What You Get: Receive 6-8 premium products to sample, each from top brands and hand-picked by our health conscious curators in beauty, health, nutrition and home categories.
Marley’s Monsters Reuseable 3″ Facial Rounds- There are 4 of these 100% cotton pads and I’ve already started using them. They’re very soft which I like. I’m just hoping I don’t lose them in the wash. I have a couple washing right now to see if the machine eats them. I could probably rinse them out myself, actually, but I didn’t think of that until just now.
Value: $2.40
Urban Oreganics Rosewater Toner- This is handcrafted in Portland in small batches. This batch found in Kloverbox was actually made less than 30 days ago and includes real, fresh squeezed lemon! You an even see bits of lemon in the toner. The ingredients are Distilled Rosewater, Alcohol-free Witch Hazel, Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon Juice. And that’s it. I’ve used this already (with my cotton rounds) and it’s very nice. It’s a perfect pH for your skin and wasn’t harsh at all. *edit: You know… I’m not too sure about the lemon bits being lemon. Because three days later, it’s looking an awful lot like mold. There’s no preservative to keep the lemon from spoiling… I don’t think I would use this if I were you. I’m going to contact Kloverbox. Or maybe I should contact Urban Oreganics instead since they’re the ones who made it.
Value: $14
Baggu Small 3D Zip Bag in Mint Stripe- I’ve never had a Baggu bag before and this might be the handiest thing ever. I’m actually heading to Las Vegas and this is a PERFECT size. So perfect that I haven’t even decided which lucky things are going to be hauled around in it. It’s so much bigger than I was expecting, too. It would definitely fit all my make up and all my socks. Together. This is such a great addition to my Kloverbox. It’s one of the things I love about the curation of this box. It’s not all about beauty. It’s about finding things to use practically in your life, too.
Value: $8
Pelle Beauty Luxe Beauty Balm- This is a sample pot of beauty balm made of pure plant based ingredients. You can use this any where, any time. It’s for lips, dry cheeks, elbows…. Whatever you want to use it on. It’s made with a blend of broccoli seed oil, rice bran oil and raspberry seed oil along with some flower extracts and carnuba wax. I’m probably going to use this as a lip balm.
Value: $9
White & Elm Pomegranate Renewing Eye Serum- This is a full size organic eye serum that is made with apricot seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, argan oil, avocado oil and rosehip oil! Not only that but it has a bit of sea buckthorn oil which I love. This is going to moisturize and hydrate the skin under your eyes or anywhere else you want to put it. It’s a roller ball so there’s no worrying about spilling or applying too much either. I love that.
Value: $18
Jillian Wright Skincare Double Surface Exfoliator- This is a natural microdermabrasion cream that contains bamboo powder and other natural ingredients. Bamboo is has a natural antimicrobial benefit that hopefully passes along in this form. It also has Lactic Acid in it for sloughing away dead skin as well so you’re getting a double dose of exfoliation to show off the bright skin below. I’m definitely using this! It’s sulfate, paraben and phthalate free, too.
Value: $8
VERDICT: Once again Kloverbox does a fantastic job of balancing life and beauty with organic, natural and cruelty free products and brands. I really do love the addition of the Baggu bag and the reusable cotton pads. It’s so nice to see a subscription that pays attention to more than just your skin where sustainable living is involved. At $25 a box, this is one of the best deals out there for a subscription that focuses on natural and organic products. I’ve tried a couple and nothing I’ve seen really compares. I’m particularly in love with the White & Elm eye serum. It’s a great combination of oils and hopefully my skin will love it!
