Popsugar is one of my favorite boxes because they don’t just send makeup or beauty items but they also send products relating to home and fitness. I love getting home items now because I get so much beauty in other boxes.
The Cost: $39.95
What You Get: Full size, premium products dealing with Home, Fashion, Fitness, Beauty and Food!
Bliss Micromagic Microdermabrasion Treatment– This is a full size product! It’s a scrub made with pumice, vitamin E and aloe. I am not going to be using this on my face because… well, pumice? But for the rest of my bod, that’s totally okay! I’ve actually been needing a body scrub since my BBW coconut one just ran out.
Value: $48
Greenmarket Purveying Co. The Archivist Lemon + Cucumber Reed Diffuser Kit– It was basically love at first sniff. What’s not to like about lemon and cucumber?! Yep. Smells delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever received a reed diffuser in a subscription box before, how fun is that? Yay!
Value: $20
Samudra Pink Pina Zip Pouch– This is a Popsugar Exclusive and I’m not sure that they should admit to that. This is a glowing neon pink. It’s actually pretty big. Bigger than a regular sheet of paper for sure. It has a zipper at the top and is see through (there’s a piece of white paper inside of it in the photo. So you can find everything. If you’re not blinded first by the blazing neon pink glare.
Value: $40 (you’re kidding, right?)
Knock Knock What to Pack Pad– Never forget to pack anything again ever. Because this baby has 60 sheets! It does have Chargers on the list but it doesn’t have nearly enough extra lines for makeup and skincare. It’s awfully cute, though.
Value: $7
Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara and POREfessional– These two samples are special extras. I like the Roller Lash actually. It works well for me (and I admit, I was surprised). I currently am sporting extensions so I can’t use mascara right now so this will be passed along.
The Porefessional I’m definitely trying. I’m looking for the ultimate primer. Right now I’m using Smashbox Color Corrector and I really like it but I can cheat a little with Benefit. Never hurts to explore your options…
Halfpops Halfpopped Popcorn– Okay, so this stuff is magic. If you’ve never had this, you’ve got to try it. It sounds awful, right? But it’s not. It’s ridiculously addictive. I got the regular flavor but I saw there was a Chipotle floating around. This bag is tiny! I’m used to Popsugar sending full size snack bags but I like these so I’m not complaining. Much. The creators of this snack are also about ten minutes from my home!
Value: $2
Wet Brush The Squirt– This is a travel size wet brush. I’ve never used a wet brush though I tried a TangleTeezr thing. That thing worked as well as my regular brush but was more unwieldy so I didn’t bother with it again. But this is different and I’m curious. I need less hair breakage. I need to keep what I have! Drat my thin hair… /cry.
Value: $5
VERDICT: This Popsugar box was not my favorite. It’s kinda boring actually. But I’ve already got the diffuser set up, the Halfpops are half eaten and the Bliss is sitting in the shower waiting to be used. I’ll see what I think about the Wet Brush, maybe it will be amazing but I won’t know til I try. But the raging pink zip pouch will have to find a new home before it blinds me and the What to Pack will be passed on to someone more likely to use it.
The last few Popsugar boxes have been absolutely stellar so maybe that’s why this one seems a little dull to me.
If you’d like to get a Popsugar Must Have box, March is sold out and April is sold out but you can snag a May box right here! Use code REFER5 to get $5 off your first box. I have no idea how they are selling out so fast. This is kind of ridiculous…
