If you haven’t heard of it, Scentbird sends an 8ml purse spray of your choice to your door every month. They have a growing catalogue of over 350 fragrances with brands like Juliette Has A Gun, Marc Jacobs, Dior, Givenchy and Michael Kors.
If you don’t know what you want, you can fill out their profile and they’ll create a list of fragrances that fit your requirements. So far, their suggestions have been spot on for me.
The Cost: $14.99/month
What You Get: Each month you will receive one 8ml purse spray of the scent of your choice based on your profile. The first month, you will receive the black atomizer case for the perfume and a carrysack for it.
This month I received Tom Ford’s Black Orchid. This was a suggestion that I decided to take and I’m glad I did because this is glorious! It’s described as “A luxurious and sensual fragrance of rich, dark, accords and an alluring potion of black orchids and spice.” Since it’s $75 an ounce, being able to get 8ml for $15 is SO nice! Plus I don’t go through perfume that fast so I’ll have this for a good, long while.
On your first month, you’ll receive a black atomizer case with your perfume. Subsequent months come only with the perfume spritzer. Technically, you’re supposed to have used up the 8ml spray during the month and you will put your new, full perfume in the case and toss your old, empty one.
I don’t use perfume that fast and I tend to switch it up a lot so I have several extra sprays that I keep in an empty Birchbox Man drawer. Maybe I’m obsessed with collecting perfumes now? Maybe. But at least I don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to do it!
I love the size of the spray and case because it is so easy to toss these in a handbag or purse. The way the case is made means no leaks and no accidental sprays since you have to twist the case in order for the spray bottle to become visible.
If you would like to sign up for Scentbird, you can do that here! Use coupon code SCENT25 and get 25% off your first shipment! Such a deal. Have fun exploring and choosing a perfume, too. Sooo many to pick from!
What do you think of Scentbird? I have SO many perfumes now and I love having a variety to pick from every day. That’s something I didn’t use to have because I refused to spend copious amounts on a jar that I’d have for the rest of my life.
