The Box of Style by The Zoe Report and curated by Rachel Zoe has become one of my most anticipated boxes. It’s quarterly so each season brings a new box. It’s only a year old now but I’ve been really happy with what I’ve received. It’s one of the more expensive boxes but you do get some truly unique fashion items.
Everything is wrapped up so nicely! It’s a little like Christmas opening all the packages.
The Cost: $100/quarterly
What You Get: At least five products worth over $300 in fashion, beauty and lifestyle carefully curated by Rachel Zoe and her team.
Exclusive Alexis Bittar Cocktail Ring– Thissssss. I freely admit I was a little worried about this. I don’t wear a whole lot of gold (although that’s changing) and I have small fingers. I was concerned that it would be so tall on my finger that it would impede my knuckle. Luckily NO issues and I love it! For being “adjustable” it’s pretty solid. I don’t know if I would try to adjust it myself. The gold-tone isn’t super yellow which I appreciate, the Swarovski crystals are clear and sparkly.
It’s a really well-made cocktail ring and I’m going to wear it all day today just because I can! However for the retail price I would expect real gold. It’s pretty fun knowing that only Box of Style subscribers will have this ring!
Honest Beauty Lip Crayon-Our sheer lip crayon offers antioxidant-rich coconut oil, murumuru butter and shea butter to help moisturize and cushion for a soft, natural finish. Lightweight texture glides on for quick, convenient color any way you want it.
Caite Nail Polish– There are three colors available. A glittery one is pictured, I received a pink with gold shimmer called Ivory Queen. I think the last is a maroon/burgundy of some sort. Not too impressed with the polish because the bottom of this one is all yellowed. I’m sure it’s fine but who wants to see that?
Foot Petals Tip Toes-Give the ball of your foot a break with Tip Toes shoe cushions. Add stability to your strut. I’ve always looked at these then never purchased any. I’m curious to see how well they work. And I do like that she includes something practical with every box.
Our Heiday Leopard Notecards with Envelopes– These leopard spotted notecards come with shimmery gold envelopes. I’m not sure what I will use them for since they aren’t really my style (although I can totally see how they’d be RZ’s).
MarulaOil Intensive Mask and Rare Oil Treatment– Using only marula oil and esterized oil, this non-greasy, multitasking oil treatment pampers hair and skin with rich, indulgent moisture. MarulaOil Rare Oil Intensive Masque thoroughly hydrates and dramatically smooths and softens dry, coarse hair while adding fullness to fine, limp hair.
Boulevard Leather Goods Personalized Origami Pouch– This is a special bonus for subscribers who’ve been around for the long haul. These adorably shaped mini Origami Pouches puff out like origami balloons, and fold into themselves when not in use.
Nylon with a leather patch that says “Get Gorgeous”.
VERDICT: While this isn’t the most exciting Box of Style we’ve received, I liked it. I definitely wish it was more fashion focused but the inclusion of Foot Petals doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I like the fact that she includes something super practical in each box. I also have been happy with my Honest Beauty products and I needed more makeup wipes anyway. And I’m so glad the lipstick is totally my color. Nail polish seems to be a staple but I could do with something other than notecards. Hair products are likely inevitable and at least it’s good quality. I’m not too sure about the pin, though.
